Black finish pad
IGL foam is manufactured with a special blend of German and Korean prepolymer foam. The pads are designed to provide maximum durability on dual-action and long-throw rotary machines. The pads are tapered for added safety when working with long-throw polishers, while the upper section is precisely molded to the backing plate, resulting in a much more even pressure distribution across the pad surface, making cutting, polishing, or finishing much more efficient.
The pads are also easily centered thanks to the inner opening design, which also serves as a heat dissipation point. The IGL electrodes are part of the IGL sanding system and are designed to work very efficiently with IGL Compound F1, Polish F2, and Finish F3. The end result is less heat, less dust, less clogging of the pads, and longer pad life.
The black finish is great for light hologram and swirl removal work.
