Fra-ber's Innovacar Clay Bars are available in three types (soft, medium, and strong) weighing 100g each, suitable for mechanically decontaminating cars. Their weight and elasticity make them easy to handle and they are sold in small plastic boxes for easy storage and reuse. They remove traffic film, insect residue, resin, and iron residue, as well as all other impurities on the car. The product is suitable for both painted and chrome surfaces.
- Choose the right Fra-Ber clay bar.
- Wash and dry the vehicle.
- Soak with the lubricant (DL Lube) and flatten the clay bar with your hands.
- Working in small sections, approximately 40 X 40cm, evenly spray the clay lubricant over the work surface.
- Spray the lubricant onto the clay bar and gently apply it to the work surface, overlapping strokes. Repeated strokes may be necessary for particularly stubborn blemishes. Try to reshape the clay to maintain a cool, dry surface.
- Continue working on the same area until all impurities are removed. When optimal results are achieved, the clay will flow smoothly over the surface.
- Remove excess lubricant with a microfiber cloth.
- Repeat steps 3 through 6 until the entire car is properly clayed.
- At the end of your work, store the clay stick and mist it with lubricant to keep it soft and flexible.
- Follow up later with a quick wash before polishing or applying sealant.
