Gyeon Q2 Rim is an advanced quartz coating specially developed to protect against even the highest temperatures (up to 350°C). Harsh chemicals do not affect the coating, making it ideal for rims, brake calipers, and exhausts. Q2 Rim utilizes the latest silicon (Si) technology, which deposits a layer of polymers and heat-resistant additives on the surface. These react quickly, leaving a fully crystallized SiO2 layer.
Unlike other nanotechnologies, Gyeon Q2 Rim doesn't contain alcohol, so it won't dissolve quickly, making application incredibly easy. The coating is also resistant to all cleaning chemicals from pH 2 to pH 11, so even powerful rim cleaners pose no problem!
The result of the thick, smooth coating is an extremely water-repellent surface, causing rain and wash water to bead and run off. This extreme beading effect not only looks great but also helps remove dirt more easily, making weekly laundry easier and faster.
Q2 Rim offers incredible protection against brake dust and salt for up to 12 months, even on sports cars. The product can only be removed by friction, such as machine polishing.
Gyeon Q2 Rim is suitable for surfaces that must withstand heat and/or heavy soiling, and cleaning products such as rims, exhausts, and brake calipers.
